Dr Tom Jose Kakkanattu was trained at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS- New Delhi) and Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER Chandigarh), India’s two top most medical institutes, for both MD (General Medicine) and DM (Nephrology). He did his MBBS from Gov. Medical College Trissur. He is a European board certified nephrologist by completing the European Speciality Examination in Nephrology (UK) conducted by the Royal college of Physicians- London and ERA-EDTA. He is also a member of royal college of physicians (MRCP-UK).
